ASOIAF: Is there any game-changing secret in the library at Castle Black?

Very possibly.
It already has, actually.
It was Sam who found the information about dragon glass and 'dragon-steel' (almost certainly Valyrian steel) being an effective weapon against the Others.
That's pretty game-changing.  Is there more information buried there beyond that? I wouldn't be surprised but I don't think there's anybody at Castle Black now to go through it and hunt for it!

Speaking of libraries, I wonder if the Winterfell library held any secrets.
I'm totally just casting it out there but there's this passage from A Game of Thrones.
On the eighteenth night of their journey, the wine was a rare sweet amber from the Summer Isles that he had brought all the way north from Casterly Rock, and thebook a rumination on the history and properties of dragons. With Lord Eddard Stark's permission, Tyrion had borrowed a few rare volumes from the Winterfell library and packed them for the ride north.

I think it's quite possible that this is another copy of the very book that the Faceless Man Formerly Known as Jackin' Hagar might be looking for in the Citadel.
While the library of Winterfell was sadly burnt(a tragedy, innit?), this book(and others) at least were preserved because Tyrion had borrowed them. Presumably he returned them to Winterfell on his visit back.
More importantly, any secrets the book on Dragons may have held about Dragons will have been absorbed by Tyrion. I would not at all be surprised if that knowledge is key point eventually.
