I do see most of the major characters coming together for a climax.
But not, you know, together together.
By which I mean, they may be on different sides; and Bran will probably still be in his cave, watching and possibly guiding things. There will be people in the middle and on all sides.
I think there's going to be a lot of dragon action and a lot of Ice magic; Ice spiders. Others. Fire. Dragons. Dothraki Hordes. Knights. Peasants. Direwolf armies. Wildling armies. Viking/pirates led by a mad man. Wildfyre. Red priests. Ice Zombies. Noseless dwarfs. Golden Companies. Roman Centurions. Juggling clowns. Mustachioed ne'er do wells.
It's going to be epic. In the original sense of the word.
