Much as I dislike Trump, he’s probably right about what he says.
But what it really makes me think is that Trump belongs to this rarefied billionaire’s club and he sees Jeff Bezos, who he considers his peer, doing something that he himself would definitely do if he had the cash. I mean, hasn’t he bragged about buying politicians and the like?
This is what I make of it: Trump’s envious and he’s motivated by envy and an urge to be top dog more than anything else
He's just pissed off that somebody is working the system better than he does.
